The ancient mountains and forests of New England are a special place for all who experience them. Verdant and lush, full of life, these natural places are where many find spiritual renewal. Time spent in nature can be an important part of recovery because it grounds us to something that is bigger than ourselves – something which is timeless and sacred.

It might be the feel of soft pine needles underfoot, or the sparkling canopy overhead. Maybe it’s the twinkling sounds of running water over rocks, as the sounds of movement and life echo all around.
